What this site is

Canadian Truck Guide compares trucks and truck gear using manufacturer specifications, published pricing in Canadian dollars, and data relevant to Canadian conditions — towing in cold weather, availability in Canada, and what things actually cost here after shipping and duties.

How we rate

Every comparison works from a published spec table. Each number in our tables is taken from the manufacturer's own published specifications and linked to its source. We date every table, and when a spec can't be verified from a primary source, we say so instead of guessing.

What we don't do

We don't accept payment for placement in comparisons, we don't run sponsored rankings, and we don't publish specs we can't source.

Ownership

Canadian Truck Guide is operated by the team behind KOVA Truck Accessories (truckaccessories.ca). Where KOVA products appear in a comparison, they're labelled, and they're scored from the same spec sheet as everything else.
